Our Mission

The Eritrean and Ethiopian Students’ Association (E.E.S.A.) is a non-profit, non-political organization committed to fostering unity and support among Eritrean and Ethiopian students at the University of Alberta. Our mission is to create a welcoming and inclusive environment that promotes cultural awareness and understanding within the larger Edmonton community. We strive to empower individuals through shared experiences, collaboration, and mutual support, enhancing the unity of our community and increasing awareness of Eritrea and Ethiopia. By organizing activities that promote education and connection, we aim to cultivate a friendly and thriving community where everyone can succeed.
